Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorship- Is getting into veterinarian school still as difficult as it was?
- I would say it's more difficult than it was.
- My sister wanted to be a veterinarian and didn't get in.
She became a doctor.
I mean, that's how crazy it was.
She couldn't get into vet school, but she got into med school and became a doctor.
- Yeah.
- Is it still that way?
- Yes.
- Why?
- Like for every open position in veterinary schools, it's like 400 to 800 applicants.
- [Rob] Is it just 'cause everybody wants to do it?
- Yeah, it's a good lifestyle and it's, everybody likes their animals, so.
- Why don't you quit being a veterinarian and start your own school?
Man, think of that.
- I imagine that Chelsey told me a few things of running a university that would discourage me from wanting to be in charge of that.
