One month out from the first Democratic presidential debate, the crowded field of contenders spent much of the three-day weekend campaigning, as well as observing the Memorial Day holiday. With that somber military backdrop, candidates Pete Buttigieg and Beto O’Rourke were among those criticizing President Trump for increasing U.S. military presence in the Middle East.
