[Leslie] We are using coolers that have been donated to us.
[Leanne] And then drilling a six inch hole.
Then we put the tape, the gorilla tape all around it, and then it's going to have an awning.
Then we put straw in there and put the cover on and put the all weather tape around that as well.
The shelters themselves, they are lightweight.
They are just filled with the straw.
So they are able to be carried out, placed on a property.
Ideally, the ones that we're making today is meant to last through the winter so that come springtime we can go out, collect them, either refurbish them or replace them with new.
[Leanne] There are a lot of stray cats out there which are called community cats.
They're there because somebody is feeding them, otherwise they would move on.
So we'll give them their own shelter to stay warm.
