America, a role that worked for the city of Hibbing and the city services director here.

Today we're at the whole Russ Linville.

It's, a city owned, Overlook Park that, overlooks the whole rest.

Mahoning mine, one of the largest, open pit iron ore mines in the country.

This is the, Grand Canyon of the North.

The old mine view used to be about a mile and a half away from here.

That was running since the early 1990s.

It stayed there until right around 2017, when Hibbing Taconite, approached the city and said, we have to expand the pit.

We were all able to to do a land swap.

We estimated at roughly 30,000 visitors a year, came to our old mine view.

And, we only anticipate that to grow with these new buildings.

Such a historical, piece of property that you think of all generations of people that, worked here over 125 years.

People are pretty excited to see our facility here.

And it's it is first class.

We're in the process of working with the, Science Museum of Minnesota to add a few more exhibits to the buildings and, and the grounds.

So, yeah, for you, we want to keep it going and, add something new and bring a new flavor every, every year.
