[Music] this is Jacob from H and this is my song [Music] drain [Music] CAU a glimpse I was a man now it's fle and watch it trickle down the train again so convinced that I'm in theong thing the chase never in the end then it hits River's my only dirty Co I've been breathing you swim ahead you holding the ropes so thing call me crazy but I'm holding up my head story goes it's only roomors I'm here but I'm washed away heaven knows it only Miran s me on the river it's colder [Music] there's Sun I close my eyes it's round the rout I take my morning drive dig you ditch you call ahead this time but don't you fool yourself this karma is a friend of mine Story Goes it's only rumors I'm hearing and I'm washed away heaven knows it only mirrors un clean show me on the re but it's warmer upe and there's no [Music] you st go it's only room as I'm here in and I'm washed away yeah heaven knows it only C it's storing in my visions of My New [Music] View [Music] yeah I like that one sound good sound good all right thank you appreciate it so drain is a funny one I I I tend to write lyrics Last um and this was a song that is very very Pine grve influence if if you know that rings Iselle but very much like the Americana Indie um it was a riff that I wrote like a year ago and and I really stuck with it and the song came really easy to me and then the lyrics were very very difficult to kind of kind of come up with but um overall it's kind of like a self-reflection song like the first lyrics are like I caught a glimpse when I was a better man uh but now that fleeting watch it trickle down the drain again is is the full thing but um just this idea of like oh I've kind of self-reflecting and and seeing where I've went wrong and um the the first album that I came out with was more of like an entire representation of where I've come from in my entire life and the songs that I've started to WR now are more more recent so a lot of what you know I went through in the last year which I in my opinion was one of my biggest years of growth in my life uh and so I'm just reflecting on the bad parts of that growth uh a lot in drain supported by the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra the MSO extends beyond the concert hall and into the community reaching more than 40,000 children and their families through its arts and Community Education Program information at mso.org
