Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorshipI'm Taylor Crosby and I am a bo member of the Duluth Climbers Co So ice climbing is climbing fro waterfalls, I guess to to put it using crampons, which are spike we attach to our feet, and then which are ice axes that you swing, into the, into the ice and go up this ice.
All that work behind us was actually put up, by our ice farming system.
So in some wetter years there are some natural ice that here in the quarry.
But with a really dry fall we didn't get any natural ice.
So using our ice farming system that we put in a few years ago, us being the Dulut Climbers Coalition, we can run water over the cliffs edge and all of all of these ice climbs.
The main difference between this and yeah, climbing at like, you know, an indoor rock wall, would be here.
You're creating your holds.
You're, you're holding these ice and you're swinging in and you're creating your own hol as you go up.
So there is kind of a fun, kind of creative, way that you that you get up the wall, which
