Protestors took down an American flag outside an Aurora immigration detention center.
At a demonstration in July of 2019, a small group of protesters removed an American flag at a demonstration outside an Aurora, Colorado immigration detention facility, launching sharp online criticism. The protesters also replaced that flag and two others with a Mexican flag and anti-law enforcement flags. Police said the larger demonstration was mostly peaceful so they did not intervene.
