The Slice from PBS North.

The play is called The Ice Fishing Play by a Minnesota writer, Kevin Kling.

My name is Pete Pellinen and, I am with Stages of the Range Players, which is a group that takes productions out to local communities.

This play tends to be mainly about my character who has it to get away from his wife so he can go out and sit and listen to the radio and have some beers and think about his own issues.

He's out there all the time.

I hardly ever see him.

But I guess that's the way it is.

And that's what I roll with.

It's in there that I need to find something for myself to do.

Well, you can just forget about coming home.

When you are dying, what goes through your mind right at the end?

And so those relationships, with the characters in the play, that Ron, the main character is, has had are coming back to him.

We're performing at the Eveleth Auditorium for this play.

It opens on the 12th of February and we run through the 15th.

I, I hope the audience walks away with a sense of joy and value in their own relationships that they have every day.
