Deb Whitehorse grew up racing iceboats with her father and siblings on Lake Monona in Madison, Wisconsin. She now serves as an organizer for various iceboat clubs, locally and internationally. Whitehorse helps run regattas, which require very specific weather conditions. She has extensive knowledge of iceboating history and considers iceboaters as part of her second family.
