Hi, I'm Claire.
I'm an illustrator and this is my studio.
The work that I do is illustrations, and I like to illustrate people and places that have meaning and connection for people.
I have been drawing kind of my whole life, and after I had a baby, I kind of started really honing in on my practice more and kind of re-fell in love with creating, which has always felt really essential to me.
I started out with watercolor, which I still love.
I use a lot of gouache paint, which is similar to watercolor but a little more pigmented.
And I recently have been kind of getting into soft pastels, colored pencils and wax crayons.
I call them fancy crayons.
They're kind of like a nicer version of a Crayola.
I find inspiration everywhere.
I think when I'm really inspired in when I'm connecting with something that's deeper than I can express in words The Slice, from WDSE WRPT.
