Every summer, the Marshall School District offers students a chance to catch carp for cash. Using tackle supplied by a local sportsman's group, the students head for Lake Maunesha which is overrun with the rough fish. Students are paid a quarter for each fish they pull from the lake, and the contest continues throughout the entire summer.
