It's that time again. Every 10 years, Chicago's map of 50 wards is redrawn — generally behind closed doors. But now an independent group is putting forth what it calls “The Peoples Map" — an alternative which they say accurately represents the city's diverse communities without splintering demographics to concentrate power.
