Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorshipToday we're exploring Pratt Fine Arts Center, the ultimate art.. You're not going to believe what's inside.
Let's go explore.
If you ever wanted to unleash your inner artist, Pratt is for you.
Let's see how many art choices we can find in one minute.
First up, glass fusing.
And right next door, flame working.
And here's what we peeked at from outside.
A spectacular large glass blowing studio.
Glass doesn't always have to be hot to make art.
Welcome to the cold shop.
One of my favorite things about Pratt.
You can make your own treasure.
This is the jewelry studio.
And this room features metal fabrication, welding, and this floor opens up to reveal a sandpit for bronze casting.
And out here, blacksmithing, or perhaps stone carving is your next adventure.
And that's just the first building.
Two more to go.
Building two is huge.
A haven for 2D art and all types of printmaking.
And classic posters like that are made with vintage letter presses like these.
Yep.
And here's a big ol room where you can do al.. And finally, all of this is woodworking.
Okay, that took more than a minute, but I think it was worth it.
I'm Angela.
Thanks for exploring.
I'll see you.
