The King Saul statue is put in place at the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh.
The NC Museum of Art has acquired a new-to-them statue. Created by an American sculptor living in Italy in 1865, the statue spent more than a century in a private school in England. The marble masterwork is HEAVY. Special steps had to be taken all along the way to transport the statue to the states & to install it in the museum.
