Yes, there are plenty of books and plenty of movies, but these resources are different.
When I check out a film I'm not just watching any movie, I'm enjoying my favorite films made accessible to both me and my child with closed captioning.
At the Vegas PBS Special Needs Resource Library, they have closed-captioned DVDs for the deaf and hard of hearing of all ages.
Plus the library offers descriptive DVDs, which makes the visual elements of videos accessible to those who are blind or visually impaired.
-While movies are great for families, as a professional working with special needs children, educational materials are vital for my clients' success.
I use these educational resources as learning tools to help special needs children reach their goals in growth and development.
With the Special Needs Resource Library, I can choose from a diverse collection of media addressing needs such as autism, blindness, deafness and developmental delays.

Once you have found an item you'd like to check out, log in and test availability.
If the item is available, submit your order.
