The wearing of masks in school isn’t the only battle between parents and districts in New Jersey. Vaccinations and virtual learning options are also fueling debate. After 18 months of hybrid and virtual schedules, kids returned to their schools for in-person learning last week, but rising caseloads of COVID-19 could upend the school year.
