NJ has 45 probable and confirmed cases of monkeypox according to the Department of Health. While the virus is rare and not nearly as contagious as COVID-19, health experts say there’s still reason for concern. The dean of Rutgers School of Public Health says there’s plenty to be learned from the coronavirus response that could help the state contain the Monkeypox outbreak.
