Lemony Snicket Prize goes to Martha Hickson of North Hunterdon Regional High School

Martha Hickson, a school librarian at North Hunterdon Regional High School in Annandale, resisted when a ban was attempted on five LGBTQ books last September. Hickson's refusal to ban the books earned her the American Library Association’s Lemony Snicket Prize for Noble Librarians Faced with Adversity.
