Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorship- So my name is Isabella Daniels-Connor.
I am the educational engagement producer for PBS North Carolina, specifically for Rootle, our 24/7 kids channel.
The job that I get to do here is really rewarding because I get to work so closely with the community as well as getting to do what I'm really passionate about, which is animation.
So I get to help people while also getting to draw all day.
And it's a lot of fun.
We do outreach.
We travel across the state with the Rootle Roadster Tour.
The Rootle Roadster Tour is a traveling fun resource fair for kids and families.
We have autism services.
Sometimes we have people who will check your eyes for you.
We have health services.
So while the adults are kind of checking out the resources, the kids can have fun and learn and hang out with Big Bird and Daniel Tiger and all of their friends.
- Happy birthday to you.
- When I first started here, Jewel said we serve the state.
And I remember that every day.
And it's really enriching and rewarding to get to animate while serving.
I feel like that's something that not a lot of people get to do.
I think if I animated anywhere else, I wouldn't be as happy.
Yeah, I love it.
I love just getting to serve and draw at the same time.
