Good afternoon.

On behalf of everyone in my first district, welcome to the 144th fancy farm picnic.

Thanks to Father VENTERS, Steven Elder, and all of the volunteers and members of Saint Jerome Parish.

Lots of hard work goes into this great event and we appreciate each and every one of you standing here today.

I want you to let you know that this picnic and these speeches are going to be a little different this year.

This is the first time in a long time that we don't have my Harmon's bad diet jokes to deal with.

Now, rumor on the street is, is that Martin Metcalf is taking over that role.

Now, I've heard Mark's jokes.

He's up to the challenge.

Seriously, to voters are the best Senate district in the state.

In my primary this year.

I don't have an opponent in the fall, and I'm honored to serve each and every one of us for the next four years in Frankfort.

Now, it just seems odd to me still, that I don't have a Democrat to challenge me in the fall.

West Kentucky is a big red.

Ah, but there are just no D's.

So where are the D's?

Is anybody seen these?

Where did all the Democrats go?

We've got all of our R's.

But there's just no D's.

Tim, you back there Haven't found any D's yet.

I keep looking.

You find one out there somewhere?

You know, Leader McConnell, I don't think my dogs are having any more luck finding a wayward DD than yours to get back in 1984.

Well, now we've seen Democrats cut and run nationally as well.

And we have congressman Jamie Colmer to thank for that now.

Now, I wasn't I.

Wasn't really surprised that maybe Biden chose to duck and run rather than face the truth in the congressman's committee.

You know, Congressman, you're even tougher than I gave you credit for being.

Did you really have to drive Grand daddy by now?

The White House as well, between the Bidens coming after you and having to deal with AOC and you're on a daily basis.

It's like you feel like you're Teflon coated for Democrats.

Now, for those of you that need to be knowing about this.

No matter what you throw at it.

Teflon is so tough, you can't scratch it, much less beat it.

One of the things that I love about living here in West Kentucky is that we take common sense into the voting booth with us because of that, we're going to vote Jamie Coleman back into office in November.

To keep pushing back on the radical left agenda in Washington.

We're going to put Donald Trump back in the White House, where he belongs, to finish the job that he started eight years ago.

And and we're going to make it.

Look so easy.
