The former police officer convicted of killing Laquan McDonald is released from prison.

After serving half of his sentence, Jason Van Dyke left prison today. The former Chicago police officer received an 81-month sentence in 2019 for killing Black teen Laquan McDonald. WTTW News reporter Matt Masterson joins us with more.
