Again, I'm Jazzy Ash, also known as Ashli St. Armant.
And, we're so excited to do this show for several reasons.
Number one, we travel all around the country.
We've been to at least 30 states together and it's so nice to be home.
We live here in California.
My family's from New Orleans, but I live here in Orange County.
And, another thing we're thankful for is that we hardly ever get to play for grownups.
We almost always play for kids.
So this is really, really a treat.
We're gonna sing some songs and this is a classic New Orleans tune.
This song's at least 200 years old, but it's really fun and it's a singalong.
♪ So, I hope you brought your singin' voices!
♪ Yeah?

♪ (stops) [audience cheering and applauding] - I'm the singer-songwriter of the band, so I write the songs or choose the songs that we're gonna record.
But, we sort of arrange together.
We record everybody in the same room, so it feels like a big party and you never know what's gonna happen.
And that's kind of the magic.
It just has this energy.
My favorite experience was, we were all in the room and we also had kids on this particular record.
And then, all of a sudden the entire power went out on the whole block.
And so, we were right in the middle of a take.
We're like, "oh no, I thought that was the take, you know?"
And so, we were like, "we might as well have our lunch now."
So, we ordered pizza and we went in the backyard of the studio and everybody was eating and, you know, reminiscing and everything.
And then all of a sudden, the power came back on.
Perfect timing!
And then we went in and did, like, the best take of our life, you know?
And, we wouldn't have got that if it hadn't happened in that way.
Here's another dance tune for you and I wrote it myself.
