Critics keep heat on councilwoman involved in hit-and-run accident

Jersey City Councilwoman Amy DeGise made a major statement simply by showing up and taking her seat for a caucus meeting Monday. Under public pressure to resign after her failure to stop and report her hit-and-run accident for six hours, DeGise has refused to step down. She left the meeting without comment.
