As the most recognized sports voice in Hawai‘i, Jim Leahey did more than call plays; he was a masterful storyteller who informed as well as entertained. After lending his voice to more than one thousand University of Hawai‘i athletics games and a career of more than 60 years, he retired from sportscasting in June of 2018.
