Now this time, you introduced me to a new song a song that I hadn't heard or didn't know anything about.
Yeah, I don't really know much about the history of that song.
I'm talking of course about the snow miser.
Yes, there's snow miser and Heatmiser so there's all of these cartoons well, they're not cartoons or stop motion animation.
And I think the first one was Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
And they were produced by Rankin and bass and they they really had some crackerjack songwriters writing for them and they had people like Fred Astaire or Burl Ives, narrating it or surely booth is a little bit obscure for but for people who are my age, and grew up with these Rankin and bass, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer the year without a Santa Claus they did Frosty the Snowman.
I haven't done that yet.
And I'm glad that you were open to doing a new Christmas song from a different generation.
Mrs. Christmas, Mrs. Miss This says 101 My friends called me miser whatever I touch that name starts to melt in my too much shadow Saturday shadow day buddy buddy Oh see day lands on the 60 degrees rather see is 7081 I like it real high agree 78 way free from hate bluster brands call me if they stop Melton really too much too much too much I like your band because you do it all you do the jazz you know you do the gospel you do the carols and then you surprise me on the Silver Bells I wasn't I think we're gonna you're gonna bring out my inner country my country full on that was gonna be fun this is Sam things feeling crispy childrens I happen to people Pathan Braden smile.
Hello screen sale you know Christmas strength freelancing St. Linda random shoppers stole cross The city you Chris walks out laughing every Day All right You know, one of the things that I really appreciate about you is, you don't just do Christmas songs.
You do Carol's as well.
And a lot of these Christmas songs, they're very generational.
This generation knows this song or this generation knows that song, but these Carols I mean, they've been handed down for hundreds of years that people have sang them and I think that they resonate in a certain way that the Christmas songs don't they're just multi generational and I really liked the fact that you include Carol's inside of your instrumental set.
That you know, I because I grew up loving Carol's back that was back when we used to go around the neighborhood and sing Christmas carols.
Oh.
That was big fun.
personnel that snow snow and wind just watch it stone stone math tape remember a worst assemble?

you daddy Christmas will be there queued up see search breathe through the hole that is such is Key You not only do the Christmas songs like the ones that are popular, but you bring the spiritual element into your show.
And it's just a nice balance between the spirituals and, and standard Christmas songs.
I, you know, I definitely like to, you know, keep some of the gospel inside of the Christmas and my grandmother, you know, she she went around to a lot of different a lot of different churches, you know, those churches where you have an older drummer and a younger drummer organ player and then you know, younger pianists and I just know so many great jazz musicians that came up through through the church you know, because those those services would last many many many hours so you know, I find that a lot of a lot of those people they really know how to follow a singer very well because they followed that preachers thing and then that rise and the fall of the preachers preaching so I like I like that aspect when both to me him hold that Jesus Christ is born bought oh now handle the pit to me crowd Hello buy homes that call right whoa Bob Thompson major funding has been provided by AARP West Virginia and by the West Virginia lottery
