Washington voters are feeling historic levels of pessimism according to a new Crosscut/Elway Poll.
Based on a four-point scale of much better to much worse, voters' outlook on how things are going in the country, state, and in their own community is at the lowest point in 30 years of the poll.
The poll shows Washington voters are democratic or leaned that way by a margin of 20 points, indicating that the red wave some are predicting seems unlikely to make it to Washington state.
Economic issues were mentioned by 33% of respondents as the most important for candidates to discuss, with homelessness the second.
(upbeat music) For the first time, abortion rights is in the top concerns at 14%.
