#### Charles Booker IS running for the U.S. Senate in 20-22.
He released a video on Twitter and later made a public announcement.
Booker is a Democrat and a former state representative from Louisville.
He ran for the Democratic U.S. Senate nomination in 2020, losing a close race to Amy McGrath.
Booker is running for Republican Senator Rand Paul's seat, as Paul seeks a third term.
#### Governor Beshear today called Booker a strong, passionate candidate.
Asked about an endorsement, the governor says it's still early, and he says he's never endorsed a candidate in a primary before.
#### Today is the first "Shot At A Million" drawing.
A vaccinated Kentucky adult will win a million dollars, and five Kentuckians ages 12 to 17 will win college scholarships.
The winners will be announced tomorrow.
