#### Kentucky has reached an agreement with Sunrise Children's Services, a Baptist foster care agency that refused - for religious reasons -- to sign a contract barring LGBTQ discrimination.

The Courier Journal says the state has dropped the terms "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" from the contract.

This comes after a U.S. Supreme Court decision supporting a Catholic social service agency in Philadelphia that declined to accept same-sex couples as foster parents.

#### The Kentucky Department for Public Health is recommending masks for students, pre-kindergarten through sixth grade, since they are too young to be eligible for the vaccine.

Masks are also recommended for older, unvaccinated students.

These are just recommendations; the school districts will have the final say.
