#### The state is recommending all unvaccinated students and staff wear masks while indoors during the upcoming school year.
That includes all students younger than 12, since they are ineligible for the vaccine.
And the state is urging school systems to CONSIDER requiring masks for everyone - including those who've been vaccinated - in order to maximize safety.
These are just recommendations.
There is no statewide requirement for this.
School districts will make these decisions.
