#### Governor Beshear will send about 220 Kentucky National Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexican border, later in the year.
The Guard will be providing support as migrants try to enter the United States.
Governor Beshear says he is responding to a request from the federal government - NOT a request from governors along the border.
#### Doctor Steven Stack, Kentucky's public health commissioner, says Kentucky's COVID cases increased last week, from the week before.
