Now, one of my favorite parts of summer are the farmers markets across the northwest.
From Moscow to Richland to Orofino and everywhere in between.

We stopped by the Lewiston Farmer's Market where we met Marilyn Kimberling.
“Im selling quilts, potholders, breads, cookies, jams and all kinds of other crafts.” And her husband actually helps her with the quilting.

Pride Month is coming to a close.
Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer Pride Month is celebrated every June in America.
It's meant to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan.
That was a tipping point for the gay liberation movement in the U.S.. A look at the big, vibrant event in Wenatchee to celebrate Pride is up right now on NWPB.org.
