Kamal Bell fights food insecurity by teaching youth to farm.

Growing up, Kamal Bell saw how some communities had better options to grocery shop for fresh produce than others. Armed with a degree in agriculture, he started Sankofa Farms where he teaches the fundamentals of farming to young people, and also provides his goods to organizations committed to easing the fear of those wondering where their next meal is coming from.
