Village Square: Bare Minimum Wage Debate - Jul 10, 2015

Season 23 Episode 28 | 56m 56sVideo has Closed Captions

Nick Haines hosts a Village Square forum on the pros and cons of a minimum wage increase.

Next week, the KCMO City Council will decide whether to boost the wages of the city's lowest paid workers. For years, efforts to raise the minimum wage at the federal and state levels have faltered. This week, we are on location at UMKC as we partner with the Village Square to pick apart the issue with advocates and opponents, plus a team of economists.
