The annual event is celebrating all things Kentucky.
So proudly we hailed at this is the Kentucky State Fair.
Everyone is fair.
We're very excited about this state fair this year.
We've got so many new things that are going on and so many traditional things that make a state fair.
What a state fair is, highlighting the best that we have to offer in Kentucky for 11 days right here at Kentucky.
Been using Louisville.
This is where Kentuckians come together to see all things Kentucky office sights.
Our governor, all of this is the largest fast food in the Commonwealth.
Open Turkey is educational for all age groups.
It is great to be surrounded by people who love where they're from, who have a sense of pride in their roots, and who want to celebrate everything that's special about our Commonwealth.
Our state fair is more than an event.
It is a tradition that has given generations of Kentuckians the chance to celebrate our values, our culture, and the important work done every day by our farmers.
These folks are absolutely essential to our state.
I normally say that agriculture is not necessarily about just cattle sales and plows, but right here at the state fair, it's about cow sales and blouse.
So we urge you to start on South Wing, make your way to west, be able to go see everything that we have to offer.
These wonderful for kids and FFA kids, for their hearts and their souls, and to their projects this year to get that blue ribbon at the county fair level, to come to the State Fair, to be able to showcase that Kentucky truly has the best people.
And this year's theme, All Things Kentucky All in One Place, celebrates how special this Commonwealth is.
This year's families can enjoy exhibits and activities at the showcase.
Kentucky's rich agricultural heritage including AG Land, the Discovery Farm Live Music, Draft horses and Pony Bowl, Safety Town and so much more.
This fair is also a chance to celebrate how important this event is for our overall economy.
Last year, the State Fair welcomed a record breaking 630,000 attendees.
You see a lot of smiles and a lot of laughs, and that's the true treasure.
And what this is.
The State Fair runs until Sunday, August 24th.
