Winter has once again blown into Kentucky, replete with frosty mornings, weekly dustings of snow, and the hope that people are finally learning to drive in it.
This time of year, the cold may nip at your nose, but music has a magical way of warming us right back up.
Seasonal tunes brighten even the chilliest nights, bells ringing, fiddles singing, and a little holiday cheer sneaking into every chorus.

Bluegrass and mountain music didn't just bounce around in the hills and mountains of Kentucky, it resounded through the region, the nation, and the world to shape what we now call Americana.
The storytelling, the picking, the high lonesome sound, it all started right here in this state, carried from porch to porch and generation to generation.
