COVID-19 shots start for youngest kids, appointments scarce

‘We’re completely booked this week,’ said one pharmacist

New Jersey began rolling out COVID-19 vaccinations for children as young as six months of age after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention this weekend approved Moderna and Pfizer vaccines for the littlest kids. The state Department of Health pre-ordered 61,000 doses and began distributing supplies to pharmacies and doctor's offices around the state.
