The majority of kinship families have no child welfare involvement, and you can't just opt into child welfare involvement.
So for those majority of families that aren't child welfare system involved, how do they perceive?
Certainly a good first step is to reach out to local nonprofits and find a good caregiver support group.

- Those peer support groups have just proved invaluable over the years in terms of connecting caregivers to other caregivers to supports and services that those other caregivers know about, and really just being a shared forum for learning and support.
