When the body of a missing schoolgirl is discovered in a lake, a post mortem reveals she has been raped and probably held prisoner. Meanwhile, another schoolgirl is reported missing by her mother. Unless Kelly is found quickly, she will slip into a diabetic coma. But with door-to-door enquiries stopped for fear of alarming the public, will Lynley & Havers be able to save her?
