Today the FBI announced that it is investigating the San Bernardino massacre as an act of terrorism. The incident was the worst mass shooting in the United States this year. The San Francisco Police Department is facing intense scrutiny following an officer-involved shooting on Wednesday. Researchers at UC San Francisco say a new approach called "Shock and Kill" could lead to a cure for HIV.
