More than 750 members of the Kentucky National Guard were in the Southwest, helping federal forces by providing additional security and aviation support.

You deserve to be publicly recognized for your important work.
About 150 Kentucky National Guard members are still there.
Governor Bashir praised the group, saying they've been there during Kentucky's many natural disasters.
