Union members at the two plants voted against the deal by a margin of 52 to 48%.
That's compared to union members nationwide who voted for it with 65% of the votes.
Some members of the Union Local 862 told WDR, BTV and Louisville they are not satisfied with the proposed pay increase of 25% over the course of the four year contract.
That includes an immediate 11% raise.
