The city of Los Angeles aims to house every homeless veteran
Los Angeles, a city with the highest number of homeless veterans, recently signed on to an ambitious national effort to end the crisis by the end of the year. Hundreds of service providers are working toward that goal by following a model that places chronically homeless vets in permanent housing and providing access to social services.
