Circadian rhythms.
They control a lot of things.
So, if you saw the sun today, or if you went to sleep last night, chances are you've heard, or experienced, circadian rhythms.
So I decided to write this song about this phenomenon that not many people have heard about.

[bluesy guitar music] 90% of my friends have always been at least 50 years of age.
[bluesy guitar music] And you know, as a kid that's what was normal to me.
These were people who I could relate to.
[bluesy guitar music] So over the years, I've developed these friendships that's turned into kinships, to family.
[bluesy guitar music] So, on of my mommas called me up one day.
She says, "John, I've got this book for you."
I said, "Oh, great!"
The book is called "The Anatomy of Love".
[bluesy guitar music] And after reading this book this gave me a lot of insight behind this song.
[bluesy guitar music] It was an idea.
And a friend of mine called me, he says, "John, I've gotta talk to ya."
I said, "What's up?"
He says, "Well, been in this relationship for quite some time now."
He says, "I just don't know what to do."
I say, "Well what do ya mean?"
He said, "Well, my girlfriend she wants to have kids and she wants to get married."
He says, "But, I'm not sure if I'm ready for that."
I said, "Well, communication is key."
I said, "Have you told her?"
He says, "No, I didn't really say anything to her.
He says, "I just feel like I'm at this fork in the road and in our relationship."
[bluesy guitar music] And I said, "You might wanna talk to her."
So I give my friend a call.
Said, "Mark, I think I have an idea for a song."
Said, "You know when you're at this point in a relationship and you kinda don't know which way to go.
It might be at the five month mark or the five year mark."
[bluesy guitar music] He says, "Yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about."
And I call up my friend, again, and I said, "You know, been thinking."
I said, "This sounds like a song."
