Our band is like named after a road.

And the road is special to both my family and to your family.

It's called Laplant road.

And, the way that it came together was, as children, we would go down to my grandfather's house, on LaPlant road, and play music with, like, lots of different generations.

And, I don't know, we we just kind of noticed each other and each other's, like, musical vibe and, decided to start playing.

Yeah, Common Truth, We wrote in the middle of the pandemic.

It seemed to be like a really divisive time.

And we were like, why is this divisive?

This shouldn't be.

There's a line, their eyes are open, but they cannot see.

And it's kind of how it felt with, like everybody was thinking they knew everything and that they could see the whole picture, and they were only seeing one little sliver.

And so to them, that was right.

And then to other people, it was so wrong.

It's like, you know, just trying to bring that together and have community and..... ya.

Some people think that it's a long way off.

Some people think it's a short trip home.

I'm the only one to say for sure.

That what they see is a common truth.

Their eyes are open, but they cannot see.

That what they glimpse is eternity.

And they close themselves to be part of community.
