More Democratic calls for Racial Justice legislation on day 31, but time is running out.
Day 31 of the re-booted legislative session felt a bit like déjà vu. House and Senate leaders still see the budget and Hate Crimes Bill as the most important issues at hand. That hasn’t stopped the Democratic Caucus from trying to push through their “Justice for All” set of bills which includes repealing the citizen’s arrest law. Some Republicans say a total repeal goes too far.
