At a press conference Wednesday at the Capital, Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan proposed new legislation that could finally get a hate crime bill passed through the Senate. But will there be enough time? With just eight more days to this year’s session the new legislation still needs to go through the senate judiciary committee and be vetted and voted on by the both legislative bodies.
