With major budget cuts looming, legislators look for ways to help the bottom line.
With just two days left in the COVID-19 extended legislative session, law makers are looking for ways to offset the more than two billion dollars in cuts expected in next year’s budget. Increasing cigarette and vaping taxes, as well as a reduction in tax credits for things like Georgia’s booming movie industry, are just some of that things that are being looked at to help the bottom line.
