On Day 14, a contentious debate ensued in the Senate over SB 1, a bill that would permanently ban the need for the proof of a COVID vaccination to acquire state and local government services. Also in the Senate, SB 36, the first “pimping and pandering” law that increases the penalties for sex traffickers and those who solicit it from a misdemeanor to a felony.
