On Day 14, Senators advanced bills for sports betting and the new city of Mulberry.

On Day 14, SB 386, which will legalize online sports betting, was passed in the Senate. Supporters say that it will bring major funding for education. Opponents say that the negatives of gambling aren’t worth it. And, Gwinnett may soon have a new city. Lawmakers passed SB 333, which will let voters decide if they want to create the city of Mulberry.
