Legislators gathered in the House for Chief Justice Boggs’ State of the Judiciary Day 16.

Lawmakers joined together for the annual State of the Judiciary today. Chief Justice Michael Boggs discussed his cautionary message of chronic understaffing, low pay, Judicial safety, and the impact of AI on the legal system. Also, the House approved the mid-year budget, adding five billion dollars to improve infrastructure, mental health support, and other priorities.
